Sydney Opera House, AustraliaThe Sydney Opera House is located in Australia and has one of the most beautiful facades imaginable. Construction started in 1958 which makes this one of the most stunning buildings in the 19's. Apart from the facade the interior houses 5,738 seats which are all beautifully decorated, the ceiling is a orange painted spiral with different layers making it almost looking like a chocolate orange. There are also vast amounts of lights in the centre of the ceiling and 2 large implanted speakers into the walls. Not only is the stage exotic but the corridors themselves are a beauty, most of the corridors have large windows allowing the person to look upon the city of Sydney.

Empire State Building, AmericaThe empire state building was the tallest building in the world from 1931 - 1970. The facade looks exquisite but the interior is marvelous with the reception which is made out of purely maple flooring. The art deco design is a typical post world war 2 New York which is old and in my opinion, beautiful. The modernistic stainless steel occupies the 33rd and 34th floor of the building which is different to most of the building. During the 1970's most of the ceiling had a 'machine age' art deco to it until the late 1990's when it was changed to look more modern for the tourists. The building was designed by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon. Finally the observation deck of the building took 50 artists to redesign to look unique.
